Joe Thompson is a University of California at Santa Cruz Graduate and a Union & Political activist. They received a degree in Politics. They are known for their work in unionizing the first Starbucks in California at their local Santa Cruz store. Joe currently works for SEIU-UHW helping Healthcare workers organize and fight for better benefits. They are the youngest board member at 22 years old. They are also a member of the Santa Cruz County Democratic Party, Sierra Club, and many more local democratic clubs. Outside of their activism, Joe is a coffee connoisseur, enjoys stargazing, and loves comedy clubs.
